My 8-figure Personal Branding Story
How WERA Capital Partners grew from a contact-book business to eight-figure revenue, and why founder Stefan Neuss sees personal branding as a must for every owner.
Can a business still grow without a visible owner? Stefan Neuss, founder and managing director of WERA Capital Partners, is convinced it cannot. In his view, a personal brand has become one of the most valuable assets an entrepreneur can build, and his own company is his example.
A turning point at Christmas 2023
Until the end of 2023 WERA Capital Partners worked almost entirely through personal contacts. The firm helped a trusted international circle of business partners organise their finances and company structures. The business was solid, but it had little visibility.
Over Christmas 2023 Neuss asked himself whether this was how he wanted to work in the future. His answer was to use the smartphone to reach new client groups. In January 2024 he published his first videos on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
A difficult start
Looking back, he describes those first videos as "a total disaster". He was shy in front of the camera, did not know how to open a video and was unsure what to say. He kept going anyway, and he has not stopped since.
Step by step the approach became more professional. The team began to plan content for each platform, built sales funnels to turn attention into enquiries and developed standardised products that answer the typical problems of their audience.
The result after two and a half years
By October 2026 the picture had changed completely. According to Neuss, WERA Capital Partners now serves clients around the world and generates solid eight-figure annual revenue across its businesses.
His explanation is simple. "People do business with people they know, like and trust," he says. A consistent online presence lets potential clients watch, listen and form an opinion long before the first meeting. When they finally book a call, much of the trust is already there.
Why waiting is risky
Neuss describes today's market as an attention economy. Owners who stay invisible, he warns, will find it increasingly hard to win new business in the coming years. The good news is that it is not too late to start, but the best time is now.
For owners who do not know where to begin, WERA Capital Partners offers a structured online marketing playbook. A 15-minute private consultation helps to find out whether it suits the business.
